My Solo Trip To Cappadocia Turkey
Have you ever just felt as if you needed to do something for yourself? Now more than ever you have to do the things that fuel your soul. I had been longing to experience a solo trip and thought what better and safe way to experience my first one by visiting a place that is familiar with tourists and still a plane trip away. So in the last month of October I headed to Cappadocia.

Cappadocia is a city mostly known for its hot air balloons and its unique Rock Formations. Three to four million year’s ago its landscape was formed from volcanic erosion. The ash solidified into a soft rock and with time created the magical fairy chimneys that are seen today. I’m sure if you’re into traveling as much as I am you have seen the beautiful hot air balloons in photos. It truly is an unreal view that has to be experienced in one’s lifetime.

The only thing I was really concerned with once I planned the trip was who was going to take my photos. So a couple of days before my trip I arranged to have a two hour photo session. I really had no expectations but the photographer and driver picked me up in a beautiful classic car and as the sun was rising and the balloons were soaring we literally chased them trying to get the perfect picture. I will tell you it was absolutely one of the best experiences I have had. The driver was so sweet he even offered to pick me up later to watch the sunset and with no hidden agenda.

I can honestly say I felt such a calmness come over me during this trip. I would challenge anyone of you reading this to take time out for yourself and do one thing you have always wanted to do just for you!
